Some of my recent runs (even the powerful ones) ended prematurely because of these rooms. But I think that these new maze-like room layouts with lots of spikes and turrets are a step too far. I even agree with some of the most controversial nerfs, and I appreciate the balance changes to items that previously were not worth taking at all. Most of the changes that this DLC introduces are actually quite appropriate, and they make the overall experience more balanced and gratifying. I have nothing against the general increase in difficulty that Repentance offers, far from it. I may simply be unlucky, but I am encountering them far too frequently as of late, and, to be honest, I believe that such rooms should not exist in this game to begin with. Recently they've added far too many unfair, run-ending rooms with nothing but spikes and turrets (some of them both shielded and in motion) inside. But I'm kinda mixed when it comes to this DLC.
